Event Details:
The Center for Connected Health, a division of Partners Healthcare, is hosting the 7th Annual Connected Health Symposium, October 21-22, 2010. This year’s Symposium will map the way ahead for healthcare delivery, exploring innovations in patient self-management, health and wellness.
As gridlock threatens elsewhere, the responsibility for driving change falls directly to patients, hospital leaders, payers, physicians, entrepreneurs and IT executives who experience healthcare every day. Breakout sessions and keynote presentations will take a hard look at payment reform, provider accountability and patient self-management and the technology tools available, and in development, to address these pressing issues.
Leading health providers and administrators, innovators, entrepreneurs and researchers will discuss and debate such topics as developments in provider-patient communications, payment reform, provider accountability and the quality and cost-savings potential of patient self-management, and the impact of social networks, online patient communities, incentives and other tools to promote behavior change.
We invite you to network with over 1,000 health technology leaders world-wide -- hospital leaders, community-based practitioners, health plan leaders, large employers, government policymakers and leading investors. Exchange ideas with tech entrepreneurs, business execs, academic researchers and patients.
If you have questions, feel free to contact Joe Ternullo at the phone and email address above, Margaret Spinale at 617-643-3905 or mmspinale@partners.org, or Lassaad Fridhi at 617-724-3178 or lfridhi@partners.org. We look forward to welcoming you to Symposium 2010!
